Individual Counseling
Individual counseling, Individual therapy, and at times called psychotherapy all have the same goal: to meet with a person one-on-one to help someone help themselves. With each session the purpose is to try to decrease, reduce, eliminate whatever the cause maybe that the person is dealing with that maybe causing unwanted suffering of any kind.
The goal is not to judge our patient or client but to help and guide them in the right direction. We will help identify your issues that maybe feeding to these unwanted thoughts or feelings. Together we will question irrational beliefs, and allow time for self-discovery which in turn leads to a person being able to make healthier decisions.
Today, modern counseling is a process. It takes us listening to you and helping with suggestions, education, and assist with an appropriate treatment plan to assist in identifying your goals or why you are finding yourself in counseling today.
We will help you advocate for yourself! We will be there with you every step of the way. Once you decide you are ready to make changes, you will never be alone again.
