Enmanuel Matos, LMHC

Enmanuel is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Rhode Island and went on to complete his Masters Degree in Counseling at Boston College. Enmanuel has worked in the mental health field for over 20 years. He worked at Butler Hospital for many years with a wide variety of patient populations, but his focus was with children and adolescents. He has spent the last several years working for Gateway Mental Health, where he has helped patients with anxiety disorders, depression, behavioral issues, and more.
Enmanuel uses the counseling technique that best suits each patient, some of which include cognitive behavioral (CBT) and dialectical behavioral (DBT) therapy. He is fluent in Spanish and is willing to conduct sessions in whichever language the patient is most comfortable with. Manny will work with individuals in a safe and supportive environment to discuss past issues and help them develop and achieve their goals for the future.
