Trevor Yingling, LMHC

Trevor is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who received his Masters in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University. Trevor has over 6 years of experience counseling children and adolescents in residential, community, and school settings. He provides exemplary marriage and family therapy services, typically focusing on improving communication styles and conflict resolution strategies, as well as exploring past traumatic experiences. Trevor is a certified Suicide Awareness and Prevention Trainer, and has substantial experience counseling adolescents presenting with self-injurious behavior and suicidal ideation. He also possesses a considerable amount of experience in counseling adolescents presenting with mood lability (bipolar), anxiety, posttraumatic stress, substance abuse, and oppositional behavior. Trevor will generally utilize cognitive behavioral (CBT) and dialectical behavioral (DBT) techniques; however, he has become adept at implementing techniques from alternative modalities to coincide with the client’s specific needs. Trevor works diligently to provide a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for all his clients.
