Trevor Yingling, LMHC

Trevor Yingling is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, who earned his Master in Counseling Psychology degree at Northeastern University. Trevor has over 8 years of experience counseling children and adolescents in residential, community, and school settings. He provides exemplary marriage and family therapy services, typically focusing on improving communication styles and conflict-resolution strategies, as well as exploring past traumatic experiences.

Trevor is a certified Suicide Awareness and Prevention Trainer, and he has substantial experience counseling adolescents presenting with self-injurious behavior and suicidal ideation. He also possesses a considerable amount of experience in counseling adolescents presenting with mood lability (bipolar), anxiety, post-traumatic stress, substance abuse, and oppositional behavior. Trevor will generally utilize cognitive behavioral (CBT) and dialectical behavioral (DBT) techniques; however, he has become adept at implementing techniques from alternative modalities to coincide with the client’s specific needs. Trevor works diligently to provide a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for all his clients.
