Trevor Yingling, LMHC

Trevor Yingling is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, who earned his Master in Counseling Psychology degree at Northeastern University in 2007. Trevor has over 12 years of experience counseling children, adolescents, and adults in residential, school, and out-patient settings. Trevor possesses a considerable amount of experience in counseling adolescents and adults presenting with depression, anxiety, mood lability (bipolar), attention difficulties, and oppositional behavior. Trevor also provides marriage and family therapy services, typically focusing on improving communication styles and conflict-resolution strategies. Trevor has substantial experience counseling adolescents presenting with self-injurious behavior and suicidal ideation.

Trevor will generally utilize techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT); however, he has become adept at implementing techniques from alternative modalities to coincide with the client’s specific needs. Trevor works diligently to provide a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for all his clients.
