Marissa Bain, LICSW, CEAP

Marissa Bain is a licensed independent clinical social worker and has been working in the field for over 10 years and specializes in post traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, domestic violence and relationships/interpersonal issues and the unique issues faced by law enforcement and their families.  She is also a Certified Employee Assistance Professional and she is aware of the issues related to employees seeking or being mandated to counseling through their EAP.   Marissa provides individual and couples counseling and psychotherapy to adolescents and adults with substance abuse and mental health issues.   She also has experience in providing counseling to individuals on Suboxone.  Through the use of a variety of therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, she is able to provide clients with the psycho-education and healthy coping skills in an environment where they feel safe and comfortable.  Assisting clients improve self awareness and make the changes that build emotionally healthier and happier lives is her goal.
