Maeve Vaillancourt, LHMC

Maeve Vaillancourt is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Master’s degree in Counseling and Behavior Management from Bond University in Australia. Maeve also received a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling from
Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island.

Maeve has been working as a counselor for 10 years with adolescents, adults, and families addressing issues with depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, and other difficult behaviors.

During three years working as an outpatient substance use therapist with adults, and five years using solution-focused family therapy with children and adolescents, Maeve has combined cognitive behavioral strategies as well as mindfulness-based strategies such as ACT to assist her clients with their mental health and other daily challenges. Maeve works diligently to provide a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for all her clients and their families.
